Terms of Service
Last updated: August 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Melovion — the web application, desktop application, and mobile application (together, the “Service”) at https://melovion.ai. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Melovion on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf.
1. Who may use Melovion
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. Melovion is intended for use by organizations and the people who run their meetings.
2. Your account
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure and for all activity that happens under your Melovion account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. Recording, transcription, and consent
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully, or to capture a meeting without the required notice and consent;
- use it to harass, discriminate against, defame, or make employment or other decisions about a person in a way that violates applicable law;
- attempt to access data, accounts, or organizations that are not yours;
- interfere with, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service or its security;
- resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
5. Your content
As between you and Melovion, you and your organization own the meeting content you create (audio, transcripts, translations, recordings, summaries, and tasks) (“Your Content”). You grant Melovion a limited license to host, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — including sending audio and text to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy (such as speech-to-text and AI providers). You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights and consents needed to submit it.
6. AI and automated features
Melovion uses automated speech recognition, translation, and AI to produce transcripts, translations, summaries, statement checks, and task suggestions. These outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. They are assistive tools, not statements of fact or professional advice, and Melovion checks statements, not people. You must review outputs and use your own judgment; do not rely on them alone to make decisions about any individual.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (for example Google, and speech-to-text and AI providers). Your use of the Service through them is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Availability and changes
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service or parts of it. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes where practical.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time, and an organization owner may remove members and delete data.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Melovion will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, provide additional notice through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
